It is true they may not have needed to pass in the GB game, but Vick doesn't pass well at all. ~2200 yards in the regular season is pretty bad. The only team that had less passing yards was Chicago and Baltimore(ouch!). 14 pass TD / 12 INT is pretty bad. 3 rushing TD / 3 fumbles is pretty bad. He does have a killer arm, but he just doesn't have the brain to go along with it YET (I do think he will get better).
It is also true that Crumpler is very good and that may be your strongest offensive threat on Sunday. The first Vikings game, one of the Cowboys games, and the Browns game showed that it is possible for TEs to get some yardage on us.
But you are correct, I don't think this is going to be a blowout win either. If TO was playing, then it would be a blowout win.

The Falcons proved all year that they don't need to pass the ball to win football games. Vick played the majority of 14 games and went 11-3. On average, he passed less than 25 times per game. Basing his value on his ability to pass the football is a mistake.

3 times - 1 happened to be the embarrassment against the Bucs where he was dominated by a lesser defense than Philly.
a sideline to this whole thing is the phillies vs the braves. if the eagles lose in the nfc championship yet AGAIN and to the Falcons no less, WTF are the phillies fans going to say to the braves fans? at least the braves won ONE MLB championship in this string. how many have the eagles won?

I really can't say anything in support of the phillies. The whole administration has shown that they really don't want to win and the team is just a bunch of cry babies. Because of this, they have lost most of their fan base.

The Vikings were barely a playoff team and Atlanta's D is MUCH better than Minnesota's.
I am pretty sure Vick is not worried about the defense that Johnson throws at him. You can't account for him. He is the X-factor. Eagles fans are scared as hell that they have to play Atlanta. Vick is the equalizer and can win any game.
I wouldn't blame Philly fans for being pensive. At least the Bills made it to the Super Bowl.
there is little or no pensiveness, or pensivity, or pensivition or whatever about this game. the falcons dream season ends in 15 hours, then atlantans can go back to having sex with their siblings.
