Currently having a Hyper Transport Error during use of a multiplayer game. I have no idea what is causing it, hoping its simply something thats fixable and I can continue. Anyone have any information on this Hyper Transport problem?

If you can post your exact error message, and also your clock multiplier, FSB, CPU-NB multi, HT multi, HT bit width, etc. Volts also if you are overclocking. Also, new build or old? Error just starting in the game or game used to play fine before?

How exactly did you deduce your Hyper Transport is giving you a problem?

Ill work on getting all of that other information. Its nearly a brand new computer, not more than 3 months old. This error actually just started tonight. Although I do have the overclocking software I only use it to check my fans and to make sure everything seems to be running ordinary.

HT Ref. Clock: 200Mhz
Core Speed: 800Mhz
NB Speed: Approx 2000Mhz
Voltage: 1.00V
Core Multi: 4X
NB Multi: 10X

Also, I dont know what HT Multi and HT bit width is. If you could instruct me on how to find those. Im using AMD OverDrive to get this information.

The error message is on startup so until the error occurs again, which Im guessing it will as it seems it was slowly becoming more reoccurring. My monitor actually pixels out and displays vertical RBG lines then the computer restarts. The error said The computer has restarted due to a Hyper Transport Sync Error. Press F1 to continue F10 to... (something that I forgot) and DLT to enter Bios setup.

Are your RAMs at spec voltage & timings? Are the sticks qualified for your mobo?

What mobo are you using?

Sorry your rig is not treating you well, its a tough call. Memory timings can be huge in some case's so that's a good start. What speed are you running the ram at?
