Wowzers, did anyone notice the recent price droppage on Phenom II CPUs?

These would be great for a budget gaming rig.

This is hardly more than the Athlon II X4 chips used to be ($99). Well worth it (the extra cache) for gaming.

You might be thinking of tray or non-retail, or the old FXs. That's the standard fan they give for all 125w processors.

Anyway, I'd expect that we won't see *really* good prices until after june when BD is released.
