Not completely sure it will work, since it's a combo deal, but I guess it cant hurt to send it in :)

The rebate link shows up in the checkout shopping cart, so I think it is valid.

Such a hot deal, but I'm not willing to jump on a new motherboard that doesn't have Crossfire support (or at least SLI, should I go down the nvidia path).

I am thinking getting this deal over the expensive i7 upgrade but I got a few question for expert here? Would this mobo play nice if I use GTX275 and can I do slight overclock if I got a pair of DDR2 800 ram?

Yes xellos you should be fine. It seems like Newegg is clearing out the 940s for the upcoming 965.

Just bite on this, the deal is too good to pass with a decent free motherboard. This should offer me decent upgrade from a E6400. Another thing, I will still be using window xp with sata hdd, can someone point me to the right direction on which sata driver to winlite into my window xp disk?

I also jumped on this yesterday. I was going to wait for the i5 processors but my old Socket 939 started giving me "System Failed VGA Test" error message. I'm interested to see how the MB performs.

Good deal. I wanted to grab a 200$ i7 from microcenter, but the mobo is 180 and then i would need ddr3 ram for atleast 60. With this deal i can use my ram and save 240 bux.

I just setup it last night and it is running pretty smoothly. The integrate ethernet port is a bit spoty, or it could be my connection but I toss in one of the pci card. I haven't try oc yet since I am not really experience in amd ocing. I actually found the motherboard to be a bit better labeled compare to my gigabytes ds3. Btw, I went to bios and I can;t find the setting on where to change the multiplier of the processor.

It is under "T-series" in the BIOS, under the Manual Overclock section.

Got mine up and running today, no problems and so far I've been impressed with the MB.

You guys think this setup is a good fit for a Sapphire 4890 ?

aka Would it bottleneck the performance of a high end GPU ?

I have everything up and running and so far so good. Used two sticks of OCZ Platinum 4GB DDR2 1066, and an EVGA GTX 260.

I'm using XP and everything installed without a hitch. The bios that was installed on the board recognized the X4 940 without any problems, although I updated to the latest anyway. Also, I did have to go into the bios's OC settings to get the ram running at 1066.

Is it under cpu/HT freq? I send it to 215 from 200 and now I got around 3.2ghz. Another thing, how do I made the bio recognize my usb keyboard? I had to dig out my old keyboard to get in bios.

In addition, under T series, the ACC is disbale atm, would trying it on made it better to overclock?

I turned ACC on and at the same voltage it allowed an extra 200Mhz overclock.

i'm having trouble doing this...

i have gskilll ram 2x2GB (4GB) 1066 2.0-2.1v 5-5-5-15. i've upped the speed to 1066 by changing to manual. then also upped the voltage to up 2.15v and i still can't get it stable.

any thoughts?
