Newegg has a nice AMD combo deal, consisting of Phenom II 720 2.8 GHz with 3 cores, and ASUS M4A78T-E motherboard for $195 - 15 rebate and 2.5% CB (shipping is about $8).

This is a Black Edition AM3 Phenom II with unlocked multiplier (easily o/c'd beyond 3.4 GHz according to reviews).
The motherboard is based on the new 780GX chipset with integrated HD 3300 graphics and DDR3 support.
The best part is that many people have had success unlocking the 4th core with bios 1402 (also many reports of unlocking the 3rd and 4th cores when coupled with AMD x2 550 BE; but there's no combo dealof that CPU with the ASUS board).
Even though I've been an Intel fan for the last few years, and still want to upgrade to an i5 when it's out, this combo makes an excellent HTPC or secondary PC.
