Phenom and 7970

Has anyone seen any reviews using a Thuban for the CPU with a Radeon 7970? I think I could sell these 5870's for enough that the 7970 wouldn't be a huge amount of money, but I wonder if it's really worth it. I game at 1920x1200, so I think the 1GB on my cards may start to be an issue (even with two 5870's I only use 2xAA in Skyrim or I get stuttering in spots if I go higher). So a 3GB card should help out... but, I wonder if it's worth it with a Phenom, or if that much GPU is wasted. Anyone have any links or opinions?

You're probably slightly better of then the Bulldozer in the review, due to the 4Ghz overclock. BF3 sees no gains, Skyrim does, but thats because it's CPU limited anyways.

If you want to move to a single card setup, I'd say go for it.
