the OCworkbench guy didn't say what MB he used.

so, i'm not asking what's a good motherboard for OC'ing, i'm asking what's a good solid MB for the Phenom 2 ?

i think the ability to take a good OC is a sign of stability, but each review used just one CPU. seems like if you were going to explore the OC ability of a CPU, you would get 3 samples from separate suppliers.
 
i just got the Asus board and will piece it together later this week. i'll let you know how it goes- hoping for 3.8
 
looks like AT used the ASUS M3A79-T in their current buyer's guide.

i'm not sure if the AT lab actually had time to build and test the combination of ASUS M3A79-T + Athlon 920/940.

interesting how AMD used the same product #'s as Intel.
