You know that review was linked in another thread. That review is seriously flawed or either they have discovered something no one else has. I have read several very reputable websites and I have not been able to find any website that shows the I7 leading the Q based Intels by those margins in games. In most cases its either equal or the I7 is behind. No way a I7 920 knocks off a Q9550 in gaming. If it does no place else has shown it. I think that review is a bit suspect.

While the PHII will definitely be faster than the PH1, I definitely do not see it doing up to 20% on average like some are saying.

Only thing tha I know is confirmed is the 6MB L3 cache which will add performance but I don't know about a huge increase.

If AMD did redo the L3 cache structure, especially latency then it May be possible to get up to 20% in performance.

I honest don't see more than 5-10% more performance based on the bigger cache though.

Hopefully I am completely wrong (In a good way :))!

Lol just compare Cinebench numbers from the i7 review posted at Anandtech here : Cinebench Results for Phenom X4 9950

Just comparing with the numbers for PhenomII at Hwbox , Greek website how can PhenomII score less than PhenomI in Cinebench, AMAZING, Just can't believe it.:disgust:
