I'm no swimmer.....but man, Phelps sure turned on the heat those last 50m. It must be heartbreaking when you lose to someone else (in any of the timed sports) by "four one-hundredths of a second".

You think that's close, the men's 50 was decided by one one-hundredth of a second. Also, Gary Hall acts like a complete douchebag, at least he can back up his cockiness. Nonetheless, I bet the other swimmers (those on his team included) would still kick him in the gonies if given the chance.
What he's saying is that the South Koreans are protesting his win. They are saying that the Bronze medalist's starting score on the high bar was off by .1 points. I'm assuming he's skeptical of their claim, as am I.Originally posted by: Balt

Did you actually see it?
His last two routines were flawless. All he had to do was take one of those little hops on a landing to knock himself down to second or third with a .1 deduction. But he didn't.
He got the scores he deserved. 'nuff said.

I couldn't help but laugh at seeing Gary Hall Jr...dressed up like he was in a boxing match before the 50 metres.
