I own a Acer Travelmate 290 LMi laptop. The laptop works fine except for one issue. The touchpad sometimes acts as if the left button was clicked when my hand is away from the keyboard. For example, I might be typing a document, and the touchpad would left click by itself, moving the cursor to a different section of the document. This problem can be quite annoying. The problem has been present since the day 1. Acer technical support has no explanation or knowledge base solution. They say that they cannot fix it because they do not know what component of the laptop is causing the problem.
