It seems that Infinium is upset about an article at HardOCP and wants it removed.

Has anyone been reading info on this vaporware?
Do you believe its real or just a 'phantom'?

Yeah, I just read that article too. ZING!! Kyle did an awesome job with that investigation.

But in the end I'm just mad that that scumbag has a $3M house and $25M worth of investment capital to play with.

I can't wait to get a Phantom.

Rumor has it that it will use a Transmeta 6000, 1GB of Kentron QDR DRAM, 512MB Bitboys video. I hear Duke Nukem Forever rocks on this system.

The thing is I've read a few other articles and his house is only worth $1.2 and nobody knows for sure whether he has the $25 mil or not.

I dont know. I heard all the rumors too but i havnt found a single place that has actually seen it. so im calling bs on the phantom.

The NewsForge article linked to on the HardOCP mainpage is pretty funny too, basically one long article of deniably calling the nfinium folks liars.

HardOCP update 2 March

Looks like the acrimony is only growing between HardOCP and Infinium.

I took a look at Infinium's site - it looks like they are selling an Athlon XP PC in an SFF format. To me it seems they are just making a networked XBOX.
