yessss....he deserves it!

one of the best tournament's ive ever watched. not very low scores, a fair course. truly what golf is about.

congrats Phil on your second major! 😀

great win for phil, no talks of choking now. he hit some rough spots but he made some amazing 3's too. his shot yesterday out of the rough was just mind boggling.

he didn't "Not lose" this one, he won it.

it was the weather and the course. tough course, tough conditions, but fair. I thought it was golf at its finest.

Can't really say enough about Tiger. I thought his performance in this tournament showed what kind of a player he really is. Battling from nearly last to tied for 4th, putting up scores under par when others couldn't even touch 70. pretty amazing.

pretty amazing, of course it looked like tiger was trying to lose the masters after that amazing putt that did the amazing U.

problem for tiger is, he will never live up to his own amazing Tiger Slam, not only did he win all 4 majors HE SET THE FVCKING COURSE record for each tournament.

i doubt any athlete ever will match that, i think it's even more amazing than Lances string of Tour de France wins.

there is something that would be even better than the tiger slam, the REAL slam. winning all 4 majors in one season is not out of tiger's reach, as we saw this year. I think if he did that he would eclipse his 2000 season.

do you thinking winning the real slam but not setting the course record for each event would be greater than what he did?

to me it's not only that he won the four but that he set the record for each course.

yeah, I think it would be more impressive. course records are nice to break, but most of the majors are played at 5 year intervals (besides augusta obviously), and scores go down with time (not to marginalize tiger's performances at pebble beach and st. andrews of course, but nicklaus and hogan at their peaks also won tournaments by huge margins and set course records, scores were just higher back then). winning all 4 majors in one season is something NOBODY has done, and i doubt anyone will ever do. it would just be incredible, I can't even thing of a sports analogy to that, maybe winning all 4 tennis grand slams?

Did Tiger come back from cancer? Didn't think so. Does Tiger need to use every inch of physical energy avalible to win his matches? Hardly. Did Tiger win his sports biggest tournament 7 straight times? Not to my knowledge. Care to rethink your opinion now, or are you going to remain oblivious?

so anyone that has an opinion that differs from you is oblivious.

some might say Gale Sayers amazing strings of season are greater than Emmitt Smiths career, others might disagree but do you think anyone is stupid enough to claim one opinion is clearly superior to the other?

Arod or Ripken Jr for SS?

hey, i just think what Tiger did will never be repeated, to not only win the 4 biggest championships in golf in a 12 month period but ALSO to set the course records EACH TIME.

it's not as if i'm comparing Lance Armstrongs feat with my kids puddle jumping contest, tigers achievement that year has to top ANY sports fans list of amazing feats and is up there with armstrongs feat. you make it sound like the two achievements aren't even in the same class.

obviously, i believe them to be in the same class, hence the comparison, i just happen to think tigers achievement is greater.
