pfSense antivirus for parents? Good or bad idea?

I am building new windows10 PC for my old folks. They are currently using zonealarm security suit as their AV solution. What do you guys think about using a pfsense box with realtime AV for a "Parents home network" setup? Normally i'd just stick with consumer router by netgear or linksys, whuch is what they have now, but I am kind of tempted by the realtime AV provided by pfSense. If my parents cant click "allow" button then they won't pick up viruses... I figured pfsense can just block it rather than give them the option to "trust it"

Network filtering can only do so much, there needs to be multiple layers of security which is why I like Sophos home utm. It's free and comes with AV for 10 computers. Then you could employ protection against exploits by uninstalling adobe flash, making their accounts user or power user level, and installing voodoo shield (also free). pfSense is a fantastic router OS but falls a little short in the utm department. Conversely, Sophos home utm is one of the best utm OS but probably not the best router. Having both is mostly overkill but I like the super router method of virtualising pf and Sophos while setting the latter in transparent mode.

We use the Sophos UTM appliance at work. If the home one is similiar it's not bad at all to setup and does the job. Plus free is always good.
