Pfizer buying Irish drugmaker Allergan in an inverse merger, set to make hundreds of millions in annual tax savings. Looks like Obama's warnings about these mergers being "unpatriotic" didn't work. But for some of the angry left here, you'll be happy that more of the rich folks that you think the country needs less of are taking your advice "if you don't like paying your taxes for the privilege of being American, feel free to leave and don't let the door hit you." Should be a lot of houses on the market by motivated sellers in New Jersey soon.

Glenn1, you should be mad at the "let the businesses do anything they want" party. Not the "lets restrict businesses from doing certain things" party.

Why should I be mad? Pfizer is compliant with existing tax law, stupid as that is. And I love Ireland and think it's great their citizens are getting these opportunities, I don't automatically give people preference based on their physical location whether it's Camden or Kilkenny.
