Peyton Manning: Has his performance of the last 1.75 games dispelled the "choker" label?

what do you guys think.

is manning for real now?? one of the few qb's every to exceed 4000 yds passing every season for 5 consecutive seasons, (btw the only year he didn't make it, year 1 he had 3700 yds), so he was OBVIOUSLY a good qb. the only knock on him was his inability to "perform" in the playoffs.

has the last 7 quarters of football been enough to dispell that?

I never agreed with the notion that he's a choker. That stuff is for the media. It takes more than one guy to win a game anyway.

Fair or not, the only sure cure for the "choker" label is a Superbowl victory. Just ask john Elway...

I think the Colts are going to need to have 2 or 3 consecutive good post seasons (winning at least a game or two) to drop that stigma. For all we know this could be a fluke. And I don't think it's just Manning. The Colts O and their D have been inconsistent this year. Most of the time they were "on" but when they were "off" boy they were really off.
