I guess it could be worse...like Puddle of Mudd or Linkin Park worse.

Puddle of Mudd still exists? I thought they just did that one song where the guy pretends he's Cobain in the video, made their $$$ and then disappeared.

While Linkin Park sucks, Nickelback definitely sucks more. At least Linkin Park has made a few differently shitty songs, rather than remaking the same shitty song for every single.

I don't know the names of any of them really. I do know that I remember hearing one of their songs once and thinking "hey, this sucks, but at least it doesn't have the exact same chord progression as the last song of theirs I heard"

I'm not a fan of nickelback, but they have charted a good amount of songs and sold something like 40 or 50 million albums worldwide. They have done better than most contemporary acts.

Yea, I'm aware that everyone thinks that the general public has horrible taste in music and everyone else but "you" is a moron with shit taste in music. Get over it. Music elitism is so beyond annoying. The reality is that your favorite band/artist sucks, deal with it.

Lets not kid ourselves here, Detroit is a total fucking dump. There is no arguing that.
Detroit is such a piece of shit that they don't even appreciate their world class hockey organization.

If they want a local music act, convince the White Stripes to get back together for a few minutes to play at the yearly game people only watch because they are forced to hang out with their unbearable asshole families for several hours on end.
