Pretty simple choice. Some subreddits are starting to do this and it seems many more are getting very popular requests to do so. What say you AT Forums? Four day poll.

Of course screenshots are allowed, just no direct links to a Nazi-owned platform.

If we ban far-right propaganda then how will we be able to discuss the actions of the GQP?
Or if people really want to find it they can. I think it would be a nice symbolic gesture.

I can hear the response that "it wont do anything". What it says we are willing to stand up for not right vs left but right vs wrong.

I'm not on X so I'm not likely to use it, but I don't know if we need to ban it.

Also it might get us closed much faster...

X links are annoying. Haven’t been able to open them even if I wanted to since shortly after Nazi boy bought the site. My privacy extensions break it and I have no intention of fixing it or disabling them.

What extension are you using?

This small forum isn't driving that much traffic to X; I don't mind a ban but most of us are content to personally abstain.

He's not the same, but Suckerberg is on my "do not support" list as well.

Take a screenshot.
@nakedfrog has suggested xcancel links, which won't automatically render within posts.

You have to allow tracking content in Firefox to even see the x links on the forum. Needless to say I don't see the links and I ain't clicking on them if it makes that prick a single penny.

I would appreciate screen shots otherwise I'm clueless about what you're discussing. I would also suggest blocking ads social networking sites to hurt them where it hurts most, their wallets.

Block it. As we all know censorship is the cornerstone of democracy. Denying Musk the income is just the frosting on the cake. The links from here probably earn X tens of dollars every year.

Imagine thinking that the first amendment means that Nazi owned platform content cannot be blocked by private entities. They don't care about the first amendment all they care about is that their Nazi team gets to shove their information down your face with special treatment.

Fuck these pieces of shit. They are human trash

Is it possible to embed Bluesky?

I'd only share tweets cause 1: People, 2: Actually supported.
I suppose "people" is a bit ill defined. It's cause others still use and link Tweets, allowing the same to easily be done. It's like a retweet outside the platform. Extreme convenience. Twitter is still highly visible.

Agreed that it's slightly inconvenient to have the screenshot versus link. But resisting Nazis is not always going to be convenient. This is a small price to pay in this case

Seems like it at least conveys the text content of the Bluesky post?

How is that done. Just a normal URL link?
Doesn't seem to embed it.

Not sure, let me test:

Hm, seems to be the
unfurl="true"
property on the bracket URL bracket, not sure how to make that automatically happen.

Hey @Brainonska511 , how did you post that link, did you do something manually?

Shut up, Iris.
