Petition for 3dfx Driver Support

If you have a 3dfx video card and can't find any driver support, then you might take a look at PetitionOnline. They have a Petition for 3dfx Driver Support that you can join in, and hopefully get some better drivers for the new features available today in graphics. Just thought some might want to know

Hey, I want support for my Canopus Total3d 128v as well!
Also can't seem to find support for Paridise Pipeline 64, or STB Velocity 128, or STB Powergraph 64. Also, need Bios updates for my Shuttle Hot 569 motherboard to support the new K6+2+ CPU's. What about my Voodoo2? Heck, what about Voodoo1. Why stop here?

Remember that once 3dfx took over STB they dropped all STB driver support. And in that case, 3dfx bought out STB entirely, unlike how nVidia bought a few things from the 3dfx graveyard, but did not buy or aquire any support of any kind. If it was good enough for 3dfx to not support a company they bought out, how can you expect another company that bought some assets to support them? Knowing how 3dfx handled the STB deal, and still expecting them to be there for you, just doesn't add up.

Good luck with your petition.
You'll have better luck getting Intel to put out a CPU that supports SS7..

that petition is just plain silly :disgust:. i mean the damn company is dead, are you guys planning to start more petitions 3 years from now also when win2.3k comes out or whatever?? the cards are old and becoming useless, if you really need support buy a new card from a company that's still alive.

Hey its not my petition, I don't have any trouble finding driver support for my Voodoo 5500 or my Asus V8200 deluxe, Chill out, I just passed it along for someone that might like reading it, You people need to lay off the coffee or something

Thanks Ciber just thought it was interresting, Have a good 4th and remember the Vets that fought so that we may fight in the forms
