yeah, musicians are lining up around the block to cover Peter's songs....NOT!

This should be a Quizno's Unfair Matchup.

I'd still vote for Jimi though these three all do outclass Frampton. Actually my all-time favorite is Richard Thompson, love that Celtic folk-rock :)

You could at least spell Vaughan's last name right :p

Frampton has a very unique style and does do some very cool things, but my personal fav is SRV. Just gotta love his version of Little Wing. Hendrix rocks too, but I just like SRV's style a bit more.

A totally underrated guitarist is Zakk Wylde from Ozzy. Listen to the solo in No More Tears. I guess he doesn't get much credit 'cause he sorta plays hard rock/metal, but whatever.

Oh, and Jeff Healy is friggin amazing too, listen to Can You See the Light; not too shabby for a blind dude :)

Eric Johnson, Gary Moore, BB King, Eric Clapton, Jimi Page, Roger Waters, me :p

I'm not a huge Hendrix fan but he was a god with his guitar. No one else was/is as much 'as one' with the guitar like he was.

Actually a friend of mine (really knows his stuff when it comes to music) once mentioned this guy who played with fleetwood mac,
& man could he play! some even said he was better than Jimi however like Jimi he took a little too much Lsd and instead of dying
he went completely insane and has spent the last 30 someodd years in mental hospital can't quite remember his name though?

There are alot of great guitarists listed. Peter Crapton is not one of those. He sucks more than a vacuum. I voted for Jimi just cause of the title. There is no way to compare most of those though. Joe and Steve are great virtuosos. Eddie also is a great innovator. What about what's-his-name from Rage Against The Machine.

Thete are Jass Guitarists that blow Hendrix away as far as technigue, speed and accuracy(Like John McGlaughlin and Al Di Meola) but Hendrix is/was the most inovative of all the Rock Guitarists.

Sorry, but Eric Johnson is just a cheap imitation of his mentor, Satchmo.
