Petco or Petsmart ?

Plain and simple, I am buying fish for my 46 gallon aquraium. Which place offers the best, and well, is simply better than the other? Petsmart is 5 mins from me, while Petco is about 25 mins away.
 
If your local PetCo has an "aquatic center," it will be better than PetsMart. I can never even get service at PetsMart.
 
In my area, Petsmart is infinitely better than the PetCo. I only go to those chain places for supplies. For fish, I go to the local fish stores around my area.

You don't need feeder fish. You can do a fishless cycle.
Look up a tropical fish forum, and find a local fish store.

PetCo's around here are horrible. The Petsmarts are a little better, but I will spend the extra $$$ at a local place because I know they care for the fish, It's not just a job for some high school kid who doesn't give a sh!t about what he's doing.
