PETA's Seakitten website

Interesting. I used their email system that sends a prepared message to Fish and Wildgame to stop fishing. Though I changed the words and encouraged it instead. Thank you Peta for delivering my mail.

I wanted to see if you could send comments to PETA. I was willing to debate them about the improper use of the term 'Ethical' in their name. Surprisingly, while there are loads of places to buy stuff and donate and other methods for them to take your money, they don't actually want to hear what anyone, even their supporters, thinks.

I also clicked through to the main site and found it amusing that they have a campaign to stop a pet store chain from selling pets. Yeah, THAT'S gonna be real successful.

Neurobiologists tell us that fish have nervous systems that comprehend and respond to pain, and that, when it comes to the ability to feel pain, fish are just like dogs, cats, and all other animals.

No more Long John Silvers? Now I know they are crazy.

wtf is a seakitten?

This is why buying targeted advertising can backfire on a company...

Too bad they will just delete it along with all of the other form emails...it would have looked great on some official's cubicle wall.

Grabbed before it changes.

Am I missing something here? Why would it change?

It looks like PETA created a section on their peta.org page for "Sea Kittens". Someone then bought the seakittens.com, created a frameset and sourced an Omaha steaks ad in the top frame and the original peta.org site on the bottom.

Amusing, but not a flub by PETA if that's the impression it's trying to give.

I should have caught that, but I didn't bother looking at the source.

Edit: didn't bother scrolling down either...
