Well, they can be sued and they would have to prove that it was a parody. There have been cases where the court decides that something wasn't a parody.

Warner Brothers would be stupid to sue them. It would give PETA loads of press time, they'd make a big stink...

It would be a mess.

I'm not claiming to be a lawyer or anything... Just read about it before when I was looking over IP law :D

How could you possibly host this file and demand credibility.

I agree with PETA sometimes on reducing animal suffrage, but then they go and pull this sh!t and pull their name through the mud.

Appealing to the lowest common denominator may bring in a few veal-sympathists, but in the long rung, it drives so many more away.

Is it me, or did the pig sounds like Jar-Jar Binks?

Also, I found the farting sounds an added a lot to the overall message.

Cows and pigs voting? No thanks, people have a hard enough time figuring it out.

PETA if you want to know the truth take the red pill if you want to continue to lie to yourself take the blue pill... (scroll down for choices)

you take the blue pill
1.) You believe the lie and live life like the dumb@sses you are.
2.) You believe humans should be vegetarians.
3.) You think that when other animals run down then use their teeth and claws to kill their prey is more humane than the way the meat industry uses a metal ram-rod that destroys the animals brain instantly--instant death; hence little pain (think about it: bullet to head vs. teeth tearing into your flesh and claws mauling you to death--i'll take the bullet to the head any day).

you take the red pill
1.) You realize humans have teeth designed for eating meat.
2.) You realize that you neglected this elementary logic: flat-block like teeth=herbivore and sharp teeth=carnivore; humans both types of teeth; hence humans are omnivores
3.) You realize that the metal ram-rod, that the meat industry uses to destroy the animals brain, is a much better, quicker, and more humane death than another animal chasing down the prey and killing they prey by tearing it apart with it's teeth and claws.
4.) You stop being nazis about people that decide to use their teeth for what they are designed for (EATING MEAT).
5.) You do this and people stop making fun of you and you stop making @sses out of your self.

Hey dumbass. The video isn't about being a vegetarian. It is meant to show the cruelty of the meat industry. But those idiots hid the atrocities with their vegetarian bullsh!t.

i dont really argee with PETA but, your points arn't particularly good.
i mean, all you're saying is that we are designed to eat meat. which i dont think PETA is contesting. i think the problem (from this video) is the treatment of those animals being used. its one thing to kill and eat that which you kill. its another to mutilate/torture and set in horrid conditions for years before you slaughter them.
it seems to just boil down to you saying PETA folks look like asses, which may be true, but doesnt go very far towards convincing anyone.

The antibiotics fed to the livestock in factory farms and the amount of fecal waste produced by the animals in such a large concentration is a cause for concern though- The sespools that their waste is pumped into has a nasty habit of overflowing when it rains and guess where that sludge ends up -- doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that the pollution and overuse of antibiotics is a bad thing in the big picture. For the record, I love meat and cooking and eating it - I just think there needs to be some kind of balance between efficiently producing meat and subjecting ourselves to a potential deadly outbreak of a disease that we laugh at today.

read my part of how other animals use their teeth and claws to kill their prey?
Humans use a ram-rod that kills it instantly (real reason for this is not for being humane, it is so the animal doesn't tense up and rune the meat--hence the animal is dead before it knows it). Which is more humane???

The argument that PETA has that the facility is for s!it is useless because some HUMANS live worse than that--but PETA doesn't care about them because PETA is only for forcing THEIR beliefs on you and me. If PETA actually tried to rid the world of poverty then i'll listen to them; but they don't, they think that in this world ONLY the animals suffer--but like all animals, humans suffer too. In fact PETA puts animals before people--even children. Think i'm spinning? Look at their website, show me one instance where they try to help the suffering of humans...here's a link where PETA puts the animals BEFORE humans living in poverty

PETA = self righteous, elitist, richy bitc#es that try to force their beliefs on you and me

EDITED:
I'm not saying the argument that the facilities are dangerous is unjust and it is a problem and should be delt with; however, im saying PETA doesnt have the mortal standing to talk about injustice to animals when they put animals before humans. Funny if you think about it, it's like PETA is saying we are different from animals--tell me that isn't elitistism.

remember how awesome it was a few years ago when corporate cow farmers fed cows parts to cows to save money? and what happened was mad cow disease, as you should not make a cow eat another cow's brains...

whatever happened to flesh eating virus?

If you can spend hours a day posting on this forum, you can afford to not torture animals.
