PETA is pissed!

I can appreciate the philosophy behind not killing anything. I guess I'm just an asshole though, as fly, moths, mosquitoes, and other pests are fair game, and I'll spend not insignificant time hunting them down.
 
i for one understand it.. do you think that you or I are any different to a fly to Obama!??
Sure in his face maybe hes gonna be cool with you.. but it shows he would have no problems swatting you if he doesnt have to see it close up!

How about this: If all PETA members will commit suicide I will make a life-long commitment to never intentionally kill another insect. Win-Win for everyone!

Wow, I used to be able to respect PETA and how they didn't like cruelty to animals and such but this is a bit too much if this is true.

At worst, it is cross-posting and even that is a stretch, as OP is different for both threads. Keep in mind there are lots of sane people in OT that try to pretend P&N doesn't exist, if only to keep the real loonies busy...

As to the subject. I am over even considering PETA a reflection of anything sane. The title of this thread just made me think of that great Built to Spill songs. Think I'll spin it up and eat a BLT sandwich.
