I see no difference between a cow being shot in the head to become a delicious steak.....or a gazelle getting eaten alive by a cheetah....

Neither does PETA.

Among PETA's expansive inventory of idiocy, a PETA director told Dennis Prager during an interview that it was just as morally reprehensible for carnivorous animals to prey upon other animals and - if it were at all possible - PETA would force all carnivorous species to be vegan.

This is the most outrageous thing that I have heard from PETA. And thats saying a lot. They had better apologize for this bullsh!t. That is just SICK.

I wonder what they would do with carnivorous plants?

I have no problem with vegetarians if they make a personal decision for themselves that it is not right with their morals or whatever. They can choose not to eat meat, I don't care. I do have issues with people telling me that I am a murderer and killing animals and I'm a terrible person at all. You can have your values, just don't tell me how I should feel about eating meat.

They value non-human life as highly as they do humans. Hang out in a slaughter yard for a couple of hours and you will get an idea of what their point is.

Umm... duh? We all know what the value, but most of us don't agree that the life of an animal is worth the life of a human.

I think we need to treat animals better, but I'm still all for eating them.

PETA has gone off the deep end.

I think animals should be treated well, but not to the point that PETA believes and comparing the suffering of animals in slaughterhouses to jews in death camps is completely unbelievable. I had family who died in concentration camps and I'll be damned if I should care more about a miserable cow than those people. When I read the article, I couldn't believe it. Millions of animals are slaughtered each year, but they are killed because we need to eat them to survive (well, it's a pretty essential part of a diet, but can be supplemented with other things). 6 Million Jews died just because they were Jewish. There was no rhyme or reason to their killing except Germany needed someone to blame. I don't mean to rant, but this is a big deal for me and I am NOT happy whatsoever about this new campaign.
