What would be a good topic for a persuasive speech for speech class.. Other than like abortion and maryj, I have to try to persuade the class's view on something...

or "who should be voted off the island next."
or "the argument for/against the use of tactical nuclear warheads"
or "Colin Powell is actually white"
or "it was all Hillary's fault"
or "hot pockets: miracle of modern science"
or "the good/bad things about capital punishment"
or "why Michael Jordan should have stayed on the golf course"
etc...

I feel your pain man, I have the same assignment coming up in my speech class. My professor is a dinosaur (really old) and an asshole, so I'm think about trying to justify manditory euthanization of the elderly.

persuasion... not exactly argumentative... a little different. /me likes

some topics you may want to consider:

human genome project and why they should/not be able to have full freedom of research

i think i mentioned this to someone else before but welfare reform and why there needs to be welfare reform.
(suggested solution is limited term of welfare support which would include training. if they don't acheive job status, then they don't get more. plus one condition of the program would be that they cannot have any more children. mandatory birth control and no drugs)

why bill clinton was actually a good president
