Unfortunately, not everyone on this pale blue dot is of the same mind and that was proven beyond any doubt on Tuesday. What happens next is unknown but I think every person watching these events unfold knows the world will never be the same after 9/11/2001.
I'm aware that considering the current events this post wasn't DC/SETI intended but since we're in a DC forum and this is a Carl Sagan reference, I'd like to mention it was Sagan that inspired me to start the SETI@Home project. I read and still have a borrowed copy of "Pale Blue Dot"... Sagan was a great man.
