I hit 315 x 2 today, which is my highest in the few years I've been lifting. I am about 6'1", 185ish.

thats really high. my personal max is like 255lbs that i did back in college. but i haven't tried to max since then. back then, i could only rep 205 like 6 times or so. now I can get 225lbs 8 times pretty easily, but I haven't done flat bench press barbell in a while, as now I do my incline barbell press first at the gym and follow it up w/dumbell flat bench.

my incline barbell is getting high though ... i did 215lbs x 8 last week. gonna see how many times i can do 225lbs tomorrow. once i can do 225lbs x 8 on incline, i'm going to change my workout up again.

Jesus christ, 185lbs and 315 bench? You're a lean motherfvcker aren't you :p

Personal best was 1x275lbs several years ago, lifting on and off for probly 6 years. Right now working with 225lbs and usually doing a smaller last set @ 245lbs.

This week I tried 335 for the first time and did it 2 times. The 3rd I almost got up but stalled and need the spotter to just barely touch it with his fingers.

I'm 6' and 210 lbs.

I've always felt my bench was weak for my size because I have rather long arms or something...

Yah same. I have really long arms. My chest is definitely my weakest muscle in comparison to the rest of my body.

But it's weird, because my shoulders are the strongest compared to the rest of my body, and I have to push just as far with shoulder presses as with my chest ... go figure heh.

On and off for about 4 years, but steadily for the last 4 months

The funny part is, my pecs are fairly large and well shaped for my size. And my tris are huge compaired to the rest of my body size. It's just my bench weights that are low. I just figured it was a leverage issue.

My personal best was back in 1999 I believe... 1 rep for 365 @ 5'7", 180 lbs..

Now I'm a little overweight and lazy... I started working out a while back.. was back up to rep'ing 275 for 5-6 reps and then I took up playing guitar.. weight lifting has kind of been put to the bottom of the priority list :)

Yah I can rep 205 8x easily now. Also though, keep in mind I do the incline now BEFORE I do any other chest exercises. I used to do it after my flatbench and coudl do the 85lb dumbells 8x pretty easily.

But yah, that's just how my body is ... kinda weird. shoulders plays a part in incline chest, yet again, showing how my shoulders are my dominant muscle in my body heh.

for reference of what I do for shoulders, wednesday I did 75lb dumbells 8x shoulder presses, and followed it with 80lbs x 8x. i'm 5'11 and about 190lbs right now.

back in college when I was training all the time my personal best was 315 at a weight of 168. I had the proportional strength of an ant. I'd be lucky to hit 225 these days.
