I've got a server that's running out of space and want to move a large portion of the data off to an external drive but still be quickly accessible. So I thought a personal cloud/nas might fit the bill, as I can use it for a backup for the other PC's as well.

From the above two listed, which do ya'll think is the better product?

Either/or. They're both fairly low-end. Performance-wise, it'd probably be similar to connecting a USB HDD to your router (if it supports that.)

Just check out the manufacturer product pages to see if the WD has any features that are worth the extra $20. (Unfortunately, that's a personal decision on your part - some things just might not be important to you.)

Double-check for Time Machine compatibility if you have MacOS machines.
