I'm getting anxious...
My Voodoo3 3000 has issues (Screen corruption untill the PC is on for ~30mins & I change the resolution) AND it doesn't support dual CPU mode in Quake3. I plan on moving all "bloating" multimedia devices out of my main machine & into this dual CPU WindowsXP machine (I don't need to dedicate my most powerful systems to TV-OUT DVD playing). The MX400+P.C. will kill much more than 2 birds! I do have a few questions:
Although the MX is slow, will an old 440BX motherboard be able to take advantage of it's capabilities? (ie, the motherboard won't be the bottleneck will it?)
How can I tell if it's running in AGP2x mode?
Will the MX400 overclock more easily than the MX200?
I want to go with the VisionTek model, but does the Compro model happen to have any plusses? (ie, better rated memory for easier O/Cing)
How much will the bundle be?
And first and foremost, where can I buy FIRST?
