This guy I know hates everything that does not involve sitting on his computer and programming while drinking booze.

Is that normal?

When I say he hates spending.. he thinks its worthless to buy anything other then booze. His idea of a meal is eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and the only "snack" he allows himself to purchace are generic saltines.

Even booze is pointless. I only get that when I have people coming over.

He's talking about me.

Yea, I hate vacations where you have to go somewhere real far away, it's expensive and then by the time you get home, you are more tired than when you left. That, to me, is not the point of a vacation. Vacation is not having to do anything.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the beach. Too much sand, salt water, and blistering hot sun.

Yea man, I am a really light skinned red head. I am in the sun for 15 mins and I am so red I cant sleep for a week. Even with 45 sunblock on I burn pretty well in 2-3 hours.

I am not a fan of the sand or ocean either.

Why the hell do you have to go somewhere far away? Go sit in the park, watch everyone and pretend it's FPS without any violence.

That's what I am saying. If it's just time off of work where I can sit around and do as I please type of vacation, then that's good. I dont like the vacations where I have to do things.

He should bring a pen and paper there so he can write his manifesto.

Yea, I got nothing against the mountains. I like camping and hiking and whatever. But my girlfriend and all her friends always want to go to the beach.

I'm not as sensitive to the sun as you sound like....I just dislike feeling like a baked potato. :)

Forget the beach.

He hates going to to eat with friends on a Saturday night! Says its worthless and would just rather sit inside. Takes a lot of prodding to get him to leave his house. He is only interested if other people pay for him!

This is a straight up lie.

I go out to eat with my girlfriend and other people about once a week. Certainly I would prefer to just eat what's in my house as it is cheaper, but I do go do these types of things.
