Persimmons

Iv noticed two things about this fruit this year.

a)They can be quite bland if not ripe enough, or just a mass of disgusting goop if to ripe

b)You CANT use them to cook with. Gramma tried a variation of apple pie, but with persimmons, no so great. Mom tried persimmon bread, must say I dont find it to be very good.

yeah right, persimons are fvcking amazing...i love them, but yeah, they have to be just right.
