Perplexing Video Problem

I just bought a new WD120 gig hard drive for my Dell Inspiron 8600
with a 5200go card. I loaded all the same programs and the exact same
version video drivers but now some games that I play are choppy. When
I reinstalled the old hard drive a Toshiba 80 gig all the games ran
perfect. Both hard drives are 5400rpm. Any help would be appreciated.

Download "Data Lifeguard for Windows" and do an Extended Scan on the drive. See if it picks up anything.

Did you reinstall the mobo/chipset drivers too?

Yes all drivers are installed, DMA enabled, page file is large enough. I can't figure this one out.
