I got a very interesting letter the other day. Someone, whom I've never heard of addressed a USPS Priority letter to me. I opened the letter to find an Albertsons Gift Card enclosed with no letter or explaination. Naturally, I went to Albertsons to get some answers and left with more questions than answers. Why? The Gift Card was worth 8.76...

I'm confused. What am I suppose to make of this?

The letter had a return address as well, for privacy reasons won't reveal the street address of sender:

Jennifer Nave
PFC
Camanche ia 52730

I really don't know anyone in Iowa... (I live in California currently) I'll send a thank you card, but I'm still... what's going on here? Any clues ideas?

you should buy something for $8.76 with it and send it back to her. That would be priceless. :D

Buy her a gift card for 10.95 and send it back to her. See if she'll send you one for 13.69

Maybe it was just one of those things where someone flips open a phone book and picks a name at random to send some kind of trinket to, for no real reason. I've actually heard of people doing this just to see what kind of reactions they get from the recipient.

Hey I have an idea.

Why don't you buy something from Albertsons with the gift card and send it to her?

I can't believe no one else has suggested this yet.

was the letter addressed to you(ie, did it have your name on it?)
If not, then send the card back as it wasn't meant for you.
Else, you should send a letter asking who she is etc
