Hey all,

Was messing around tonight on a tree and slipped up and cut my self pretty good. The branch broke and I got caught up on some branches... Nothing that's very serious but i was wondering if peroxide would be the best thing to use on it.

peroxide, some rubbing alcohol, water and neosporin... regular vaseline will stop minor bleeding just fine

Yes.

The only time you shouldn't use peroxide is for deep puncture or slash wounds, IIRC.

A little gunpowder and a match will cauterize the wound nicely. Much better than paying some fancy-pants doctor to "debride" and "irrigate" and other mumbo-jumbo like that! Here's a stick to bite down on . . .

exactly. clean the wound by removing it completely from your body, thereby isolating yourself from infection AND those annoying heal times!

Peroxide is fine, but a saline(saltwater, not Ocean water) solution is better.
