permanent marker off LCD? edit: got it off with Eucalyptus Oil

how do itake the damn thing off?

Try some 80-grit sandpaper...

Yep, acetone will take wax off of waxed floors...

put in the sink, use soap and water....lather, rinse, repeat

try white vinegar...that's what I use to clean my LCDs

You could try some of that solution for eyeglasses with the antireflective coating. That should be something you could try without worry. Though I don't know how well it will work with permanent marker.

edit: My ar coating stuff won't wash off permanent marker. Nor will Endust for Electronics.
