Perl interpreter for Windows

I downloaded and installed active perl, but I hate running perl scripts and commands from a DOS window.

Do people use another setup/interpreter? If not, how can you stand DOS? (assuming you know how nice a clean simple Unix shell feels like 🙂)
 
Are you just complaining? What do you want people to tell you? Here's a solution: run your perl scripts in linux.
