I'm trying to install Windows XP Tablet Edition on my tablet PC.
However I lost the firewire ODD that came with it. So now I don't have much of a choice but to try and install windows from a USB flash drive or harddrive.
Now I followed a few guides on the internet that I found to install regular windows XP. But this doesn't seem to work for Windows XP tablet, I assume this is because it is two CD as opposed to one.
Oh the reason I'm reinstalling is because the HDD died and now I don't have a choice but to replace it. I have a new hard drive.
If possible is there anyway I can install WinXPTE onto the hard drive before putting it in the tablet somehow? I have a 2.5" USB converter for my HDD's.
I'm not super technically savy when it comes to hardware, so I'm getting kind of frustrated at this.
