Perhaps a new rule?

With the upcoming release of the already leaked book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", I propose a rule which would be something like this:

- Any user who posts plot spoilers without giving adequate (note: spoiler tag in title) warnings will be given a permanent vacation.

I, along with many, have been waiting for this book for 10 years, and to have it spoiled only 4 days before its release would be disheartening.

While it is a bad idea to post spoilers without mentioning them in the title, to avoid any possible disappointment, don't read any Harry Potter threads until you've read the book. After all, you might be online reading threads before a mod even sees them to take any action. So it would be best just to avoid them altogether to save your sanity.

I,too, would like to avoid knowing the outcome before I read the book, but, what with newspapers, tv, and the internet, I'm afraid that will be impossible. 🙁

Oh no, I'm not concerned about those. I'm concerned about titles that read "SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE" etc.
