performance wise, how's the previous Mustang compare to the current one?

so what's the general concensus on the new Mustang? The most common praise I heard, when comparing the old and new, is the new seats are much improved.

how about the 4.6L in the later models. and I am not looking for potential mods, just stock performance.

even tho the liters is lower on the newer mustang it has like dual intake valves or something so it gives more bang for the buck

99-04 GT was about 260hp, the new 06, is like 300hp

The 99-04 v6 had 190, the 06 v6 has ~ 190. IIRC.

the '07 shelby gt500 is going to have at least 475 hp. it will be hard finding a dealership that won't rape you on price though.
