Performance of mobo/ram

Is there a real noticeable difference between, say, a KT266A/760/761-based mobo with PC2100 DDR RAM, and a KT333-based mobo with PC2100 DDR RAM?

If not, I'll get like the cheaper ECS mobo and upgrade the vid card.
 
the kt333 chip is better than the 266, the 333 chip has support for faster ram but i bet you know all that, ecs has a board that i have used it has a 745 chipset that you can get for about 70 bucks at newegg, it scores just as good or better as more expensive 266a boards but falls short of the kt333, it's a good choice if you are lookin to save a few bucks
