Does anyone know the pros/cons of mirrored and striped configurations? Specifically: read/write performance. Which configuration typically has a faster read speed?
I've heard you get a read performance boost with a mirrored configuration, but it requires a computer that can handle multiple threads. Is this true?
Do you know of any reviews or benchmarks for them or comparing them?
Any other information about their performance would be great!
