Performance of GF4 4200Ti 64M and 128M

Anand's article on UT2003 performance made this newbie wonder why the 64M 4200Ti card did so much better than the 128M card at higher resolutions. Is the memory/core clocked higher in the 64M? What gives?

I don't want to rehash everyone else's arguments about which is better here but have a look through the postings here. There are a lot of very strong arguments for getting the 128MB rather than the 64. The main being that in the long run the 128 is a better buy, 64 MB is good if you plan on picking up the NV30 when it comes out in whatever shape that NVidia decide on.
