Performance of FOP32-1 versus FOP38?

I'm currently using a lapped FOP32-1 with YS Tech. It's doing a pretty good job, but I was wondering if changing to Delta, effectively a FOP38, will make a tangible difference in temperature? BTW, lapping a FOP32 makes a huge difference =)

how much of a difference did it make when you lapped it? i'm thinking about lapping my fop too.

I got about a 3C drop just from lapping. I didn't even get a mirror like shine either...stopped at 600 grit paper.

kimchee I have the same mobo as you and an FOP-38. My proc is TBird 850@980. I have Crap for case ventialtion right now so my temps are 52C at full load but that is where it stays. when i was running open case I was getting 42C Full load. I have not lapped and use artic silver2. Just keep in mind that the Delta is LOUD. I have to sleep in a different room my comp is so loud.
