Performance Monitor, help implementing on a PDC

Here's what I'm doing,

I just got a new network gig, and have 2 weeks to come up with a solution for using Performance Monitor. It has never been used much at our company, (just like most), and we want to start using it to help with saying things need upgrades, etc.

We do the PDCs at small businesses, most have just 1 or 2 domain controllers.

Any help would be appreciated, most interested in hearing about someone who has this already implemented in their networking strategy.
