This is my first post so be kind. I just got my new Asus K8V SE deluxe board on friday. Installed everything listed below and it came up flawlessly. I have built tons of computers and I have to say that this was one of the easiest I have done. I did not change much in the BIOS and actually now that I think of it I didnt check to see what the memory is running at. But I am noticing some weird latency in WindowsXP when I am doing normal things. Just getting IE to come up or closing one window while another unrar a volume set. It just sits there and takes several seconds for it to finish. I just upgraded from a AthlonXP 2600 with a ASUS A7V8X Deluxe with a gig of Mushkin pc2700ddr. As you can see below this setup should blow that away but it seems much slower. I have all the latest drivers installed. Any ideas would be great.
