Performance Issues with Geforce 2 32meg card

P3-600
128megs of PC100 RAM
Geforce2 CL A2 DDR 32meg running Detonator 3 drivers
Asus motherboard (I believe its a P3V4X)
3com PCI NetworkCard

3DMark2000 is giving me a score of 1650 with default benchmark

Quake3Arena timedemo demo001 is giving me these scores:

High Quality Settings:
800*600 = 49 FPS
1024*768 = 48.1 FPS

Blarg!!

Going to update my BIOS tonight when I get home but if anyone has any other possible solutions, please post.

Turn off Vsync in the driver control panel.

Just tried it and no change. I did another test on demo001 in Quake3Arena for just 640*480 and got 50FPS again. Something is royally wacked out here. Sigh, thanks for your time.

Have you installed the VIA 4-in-1 drivers? If so, install them and see if that helps.

Found them and they worked! Got a score of 5055 under 3Dmark 2000 just now. I'm going to further tweak around for better results but this is fantastic so far! Thanks for all your help!
