Performance increase when unlocking the XP?

Just how much of a performance increase will someone achieve by unlocking the multiplier on an XP chip?

After reading what needs to be done to unlock an XP, I have to wonder if it is worth it?

well....lol...i did it last night....but it wasnt successful...so i will try again tonight maybe....i have my xp1800@1770mhz with just the fsb through the bios....not sure how much more this cpu will go even if the multiplier was unlocked.
also i am running an 8k7a that has a dip for multiplier adjustments rather then a soft setup through the bios...i am not sure if this will even work with my mobo...soon as new egg gets epox kt266a boards i might give that a try
