Performance in new games : 1GB vs 2GB RAM

Anyone know where i can find some tests which compare configs with 1GB vs 2 gigs of ram memory ?
The game i'm interested in : NFS:MW,HL2,Fear,CoD2,BF2

Most existing games will not benefit from a switch to 2Gig of RAM from 1Gig. However World of Warcraft may benefit some, especially in high lag areas such as Ironforge. There have also been some reports of BF2 benefitting from 2Gig, but I haven't tried this myself.

you'de be better off upgrading your graphics card, unless you have a good one already, than getting another gig of ram. Plus if you upgrade to 4x512mb of RAM instead of 2x1gb sticks of ram you have to run your ram with a 2T command rate instead of 1T which will actually slow down your fps in games by about 4% (anandtech ref).

The benefits in BF2 are huge.. I went from 1 to 2GB and it was like night and day (load times, general laggyness/performance)... In most other games, 1GB is plenty. I play NFS:MW on my PC with 2GB as well and it runs cherry! I haven't tried it on a machine with 1, but NFSU2 ran great on 1GB, and MW is a very similar game.
