Performance hit from Via Turbo to Standard and Hardware Acceleration?

Sorry for he long confusing title. I installed a Geforce 2 GTS in KT7 board with Win 98SE. I installed the 4-in-1's, but I had to use standard mode instead of turbo. I also had to lower hardware acceleration 1 click from maximum in order to achieve stability.

How much of a performance hit am I going to take? Are we talking 5%, 10%, Etc? The processor is an 1100mhz tbird. Thanks.

In my case, installing in turbo mode enabled 2X/4X. However, the Radeon doesn't seem to like being in 4X mode on Via chipset mobos. However, the difference between 2X/4X is negligible. Not too sure about the difference between 1X/2X though. You might want to download a program like CPUID or something to see what AGP mode you're in.

I use turbo mode too, and as Spoooon, I think it has something to do with the AGP settings

I was told that there isn't much difference between the Turbo verses Standard install. What about gearing down 1 click on hardware acceleration? What kind of hit is that?
