You sure? I've been playing Project IGI, Rune and Alice and they don't seem too good... Stucked at 640x480.. Arck..

I would say definitely 100% or more, dont' know about 400% (could be true, you never know). You can probably play at the same speed at 1024, I don't know, just estimating. =)

hmm, i dont even think it's at least 100 % but let me go get my old tnt2 m64 and the new asus 7100 mx i just gotten and test it out..

Performance gain is quite substantial. I have my TNT2 Pro clocked way past TNT2 Ultra speeds and I still saw a difference using a GF2 MX in my system. I was just borrowing a friends and was fairly content not to bother with getting an MX myself, but I have also seen TNT2 M64 speeds and they are not all that good.

At very low resolutions you are going to notice a slight improvement, but when you hit the 800x600 to 1024x768 resolutions (what a P3-550 should be able to pull no probs) you will definitely notice the speed increase.

tnt2 m64's sucks ass their underclocked 64 bit pos memory makes it completely useless.
